Ain Alzahab has lots of hills and valleys and can be developed and reformed to become a tourist area. A telefrique can be built between two mountains overlooking the sea on one hand and the high mountains on the other.
The climate is very good and comfortable all year around which makes Ain alzahab a good candidate to be a resort place. Ain Alzahab is in dire need for development and reformed projects, such as build waste water treatment, sewage systems, running water, clinics, and welfare centers for the disabled, orphans and widows. Furthermore, a youth center is particulary important for educating youth and lectures and recreation. Septic tanks leak badly and have polluted the main running spring water. Most people are farmers and able to farm their lands but no water to water their lands. Providing a source of water would create an economical and sustainable opportunities for farmers to utilize their land.
Ain Alzahab is located strategically in the center between the high region and the plane region and surrounded by 12 towns and villages. Ain Alzahab can be an economical center for commercial, agriculture, food and technology products for these towns to benefit economically. A boulevard around Ain Alzahab boundaries would tie all these towns together and all lands can then be reached by agriculture and passenger vehicles for development. This would create hundreds of jobs on a continuous basis.
Ain alzahab's population is approximately 20,000 residents and 90 % live under the line of poverty. Due to the oppression and deprivation, the illiteracy level is 70%. This is another reason that parents have not yet believed that education is the key for future success and accordingly their children drop out of school. Due to poverty, if parents send children to schools, they would send boys and keep girls at home or in most cases they send girls at young ages to work to support families. Consequently, students drop out of school at early age, 12- 18 years old. The lucky student among these students after they drop out would go to work in the fields, restaurants, or find a labor job, if available. The rest would have to stay in the town wondering what to do today !
